Caesalpinia caymanensis has almost smooth pods(spineless).
The pod usually holds 2 seeds of a greenish gray colour.
Propagation was implemented at the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park
but the offspring's of this plant reverted to a prickly pods.

Distribution; GC, center George Town but it appears to have been exterminated by urban development.
