LEGUMINOSAE SUBFAMILY; FABOIDEAE
Quickstick; Aaron's Rod
Deciduous
Flowering time; Spring and fall
Distribution; GC
Habitat; Cultivated
Status; Uncommon
Notes; Horticulture potential: This is a spectacular tree in bloom. It will loose all of its leaves before putting out flowers. The leaves are said to be safe for cattles to eat but all parts are poisonous to dog, mice and rats. Farmers were using the branches of this this tree as a live fence, it would root when planted although cutting are difficult to root for me.
