Croton flavens could easily be mistaken for
a variable leaf of Croton linearis but it
is not, it is monoecious, male and female flowers are found on the
same plant. Here you see the male inflorescence at the top and female
at the base where you see fruits.
This dioecious Jamaican specimen of Croton
linearis seen below also has large leave.
